Who is this course for?
This interactive course is designed for individuals who have responsibility for pricing decisions, client and matter management. The specific role will vary from firm to firm, but we typically see Senior Associates, Legal Directors and Partners attend this course.
What problem does it solve?
Lack of confidence with pricing, excessive discounting, or high levels of write offs due to inefficient matter delivery can undermine firmwide profitability. This course helps senior fee earners understand the root causes of profit leakage and identify tactical quick wins to improve matter realisation rates and gross margin.
What are the learning objectives?
Delegates will be able to (1) understand the underlying levers of profitability and key pricing principles, and (2) identify real tactical, profitability improvements that can be applied to delegates own clients and matters.
What is the output from the course?
This course is focused on short term, tactical actions that delegates can take to improve pricing and profitability. We provide a Client and Matter Profitability Plan for delegates to note down and commit to actions.
How does it work?
Our Pricing and Profitability Accelerator is typically delivered over 2x 90 minute, remote fortnightly sessions for up to 15 delegates. Delegates receive a copy of The Legal MBA Essentials book, and a Client and Matter Profitability Plan to create an action plan to improve client and matter profitability.
Do you offer the Pricing & Profitability Accelerator to individuals?
This course is only offered to groups of delegates from law firms and we do not offer this course directly to individuals at this time.
